Going To The Dogs is owned & operated by Helen Dobson. She has twenty years experience (she started young!) presenting numerous & diverse breeds for the showring. Her own Standard Poodles have been hugely successful, winning the ultimate Best in Show award several times over (and when they're not being show dogs, they're much loved members of the family!).

Helen trained with Lynne Aitken, one of Australia's most experienced & talented groomers at The Hair of the Dog salon - one of Victoria's longest established grooming salons.

Since opening in November 2001 Going To The Dogs has been a resounding success, with the ever-expanding client base largely due to word-of-mouth referrals. "Our clients get stopped in the street by people wanting to know who grooms their dog!" Helen laughs. "And we love it that our clients are so eager to recommend our services, because it means that they're happy with the work we do & the care we take."
